speaking of home those of you who I know live in San Diego I'll be coming for a visit and to go to the Comic-con. even better! I'm bringing my boyfriend with me. Don't have exact dates and honestly it's still a hope more than a plan (but a probable hope)

Just wanted to let you all know I haven't been hit by mortars or rockets yet. Still only had that one day off. still working at least 12 hrs a day...sometimes 16 XD but that's rare.

First off, Glad to see this strange green webpage again and get the chance to talk to you. hopefully my absence hasn't caused you to forget me. and my apologies for being gone for so long.

Currently what's going on:
I get my first (dusty) taste of a new country...ok I've been to Mexico but that doesn't count where I'm from (in San Diego) XD anyways I was tasked for deployment. I'm out in Iraq working 12hr shifts with few to no days off. No I'm not complaining, I'm actualy quite enjoying it. I'm here for four months (I hope) if not then I'll take it as it comes. I'll explain where I am and what I'm doing when I get back due to many reasons. I'm sure I'll have lots of exciting things and pictures to share. I might even get a few in before I leave. We'll see. Don't worry though I'm keeping my head down and my armor close

since my last post:
I still (amazingly) have my boyfriend. I honestly don't know how he puts up with me sometimes and am throughly blessed that I have him. He moved from Dallas to Abilene in July where I Ghosted for 6 months...Ghosting is where the Air Force has given you a dorm room and expects you to live there but you're actualy living off base and paying 'out of pocket' as apposed to the Air Force giving you a housing alowance to live off base. I was supose to get my next rank in late January (which was also my 3rd year mark in the military) but that didn't happen for some stupid reasons I'm not going to go deep into. but they let me move off base anyways because I had started the paperwork while not knowing I wasn't getting my rank.

I've a 26 gal fish tank I've been working on. it's got live plants in it (yes yes fish too) and I love it a lot. Also since my boyfriend moved into town (and we're sharing an apartment) I got a cat. but not just any cat I got a Bengal. <3 his name is Lance, I love him to DEATH. his fur is SO soft! and he's got such a force of personality it blows even me (A huge cat-lover) away. and he's got spots! not just any spots but leopard spots! I don't have a picture I can post of him YET (I have thousands like any first-time parent who obsesses over their kid would XD but I need to sift thorugh them and get them in a format I can use on the public computers) but here's the breeder I got him from http://www.mystre.com/ he is realy amazing. my boyfriend (a dog lover) loves him to because he acts like he's part dog. Most Bengals actualy love water (Lance tolerates it but doesn't like being in it) he likes playing fetch, loves to go for walks on a leash, and a hundred other little things. We have a hunting game we play (he's part African Wild Cat so he's got deep hunter needs) where I'll slip around a corner and he'll try to pounce me without me jumping out at him. we're at a tie

Can't realy think of much else. I'm going to try to be on a little more but when I'm working 12s I just want to go back and go to bed this is my first day off since I've been here and I can't see many more comming my way any time soon.

So yeah. see I got this Abscess thing and had to go to the hospital because it started hurting realy realy bad (ok well I actualy thought it was a bite from an extremly poisonus spider but thankfully it didn't turn out like that) they gave me two antibiotics that make me extreemly sick and hydrocodone, a painkiller that is just....awesome. it's like...wwhheeee. btw I'm on it now and I'm waiitning for my ride to the clinic and needed something to do so I decided to write a journal (you shoulda seen how long it took me to find the 'write a journalk button" ) My boyfrienmd got a good laugh when I first took the painkillers cause I babbled at him for a few good hours. fun stuff....hard to work on.

ok so I just got back and evidently one of the pills they had me taking is ment for tuberculosis and Leprosy (btw the only reason I can spell those is because I looke'd them up) yeay and they have nothing to do with fighting infiectino. not to emtion they make me fvery very very sick so they said I can stop taking tghem and gace me something else to take instad which is very good. and they aso gave me some painkillers that won't make me so loopy. which may not be as fun but will let me work and actualy remember what's going on. yeah so forgive the errors and wierd stuff ...I forgot where I was going with that. ok I'm going to bed...or going to play video games. one of those. or something. we'll see. ok bye!

ok so I MENT to be on more oftin....stupid things distracting me....ok well only one of them is stupid. the other one is amazing. In other news today, I GOT MY FISHTANK ALL PRETY! =3 I've got a 28 gallon fishtank in this tiny room lol and it's almost all stoked up with fish!! it's peerrty. I'll put up pics later... ok back to those distractents I mentioned before (ok so I get easily distracted...I wonder what's outside)

the second bigest thing going on right now is what the Air Force called CDCs or "career development corse" ...basicly it's this test thing for my job that I get into big trouble if I don't pass (repeated failer is a forced re-class (change of jobs) or getting kicked outa the Air Force) 0.o can I put two parinthisis in eachother...is that legal? oh, what's the first bigest thing? so glad you asked.

I got a boyfriend! <.< yeah you saw that right. Me of all people managed to find someone to put up with me and my job. not an easy task. =3 It started with a video game. World of Warcraft of all things. he was helping out my guild at the time with raids and I found out one day that he lived in Dallas, not a 2.5hr drive (ok now with two warnings on my record for the same trip for speeding from the same cop It's about 3 lol ) so we made plans to meet. I made a roadtrip out of it, bringing two of my friends along (one who knew him, the other who didn't play for long) and we had a blast. I managed to convince him to come down to little old Abilene one day and we hit it off realy well. Long story short he convinced me that it was ok to date while in the military. He was willing to put up with the distance and time apart, willing to follow me no matter where the Air Force sent me, and most of all he was willing to put up with me. He's changed my whole perspective of life. Everything is better because of him. lol I'll stop before I get too sappy with this Journal.

anyways I just wanted to let you know I haven't dissapeard again. I've got some things going on that I need to get done. (stupid studying) and I've gotta re-do the first page of the Comic. you'll be seeing it soon I promise.

ok let me explain...between work, Honor Guard, studying, and the little bit of World of Warcraft I can get in, I haven't had much time to write, draw or be here unfortunatly. I'm hoping to change that. what I'm trying to do is sit myself down away from everything at a sertain time of day and devote myself to writing or drawing. meaning more creativity, more fulfilment, and hopefully more activity here. I'm slowly waiding through the posts and some of the artwork and stories that have been posted and are sittin' in my message box. I unfortunalty won't be able to get to them all. But I'm trying to at least look at them all. =\ anyways I hope to be more active, I've got a few pictures I want to post (once I get them scaned) and a chapter or two on my other computer that can make its way into the editing stage and up to post online.

what? what commic? Oooh that one =3 yeah my friend passed me a magazine the other day. it was like the Game Informer for commics....I sat there and wished that I could draw a commic...but I can't draw people very well...but I can draw Dragons! so thus was born As the Falcon Flies in a world of war, two races of dragons bound together to fight a larger third race. the Diron are tough, strong, and armored group of dragons. Their paws are more suited to battle or manual labor. Their allies are the Sildor, a much more slender, smaller, lighter built race who have more developed hands and are skilled craftsmen. Together they defend their mountain homelands from a scurge of dragons interested in taking their lands, food, females, and freedom. known as the Braken, their shadows cover the lands, enslaving or slaughtering all in their path.

Aldor Lance wants nothing more than to become a warrior. His father was a strong Diron, and his mother is a Sildor. Unfortunatly, he took more to his mother's side. He impatiently tried the crafts of his mother's family but soon found he had no skill in the arts of creating...his heart still beat for battle. He must overcome his physical limitations in a desprate atempt to fulfill his desire.

I've got the first page drawn out. ^^ I might post it soon if you are interested that is. as long as you don't mind the artwork being TOOooo bad lol. anyways it's bed time. ^^ I hope to be on more! Later!
